"Outstanding Contribution to the Scuba Diving Industry" 2010

Crystal Dive’s Platinum Course Director Matt Bolton has recently picked up yet another industry award. Whilst in Australia with fellow industry leaders for a series of meetings and brain storming sessions arranged by PADI, Matt received the "Outstanding Contribution to the Scuba Diving Industry 2010" award on behalf of Crystal Dive. The award recognises Crystal's position as the industry leader in the fields of diver training, education, business and the environment...

The Final Test - To be the best!

Once again it’s that time for the final test on the PADI Divemaster course. Another group of Crystal Dive's "Divemasters in Training" (DMTs) are ready to pass out and become a certified PADI Divemaster. After 6 weeks of training they have only one task left to complete...

Novice student divers make their first open Water dives...

Today was a brilliant day for Kenji Takahashi and his 6 open water students. PADI Course Director Kenji taught a combined group from Scandinavia and the USA and took the guys for their first open water dives to Japanese Gardens and Buoyancy World, Koh Tao's newest artificial dive site north of Twins.

"Today was our first Scuba dive on Koh Tao. Before today, we felt fear and all sorts of nerves. After today, we have already extended our trip"...

The 7th Annual Koh Tao Festival Begins...

For two days every year the tiny island of Koh Tao is the centre of attention within the gulf of Thailand as thousands visit for the annual Koh Tao Festival. Let’s do the Time Warp again..!!

Crystal’s cast for tomorrow night’s showcase at the Koh Tao festival met last night for the dress rehearsal. With the finishing touches being added and costumes now ready, it’s looking to be quite a show. Some of the outfits have been sourced from the Queen’s cabaret in Koh Tao, and promise to turn a few heads! The remaining costumes have been crafted and put together to closely resemble the original costumes from the 1975 cult classic, but with a Crystal twist...
