Excellence on PADI IDC

This month’s IDC was a very personal affair, as well as a very successful one. Three candidates; Jai, Saul & Lucy did exceptionally well on the Instructor Exam (IE). Matt conducts East Timor’s FIRST EVER PADI IDC

Once again Platinum PADI Course Director Matt Bolton produced another first, this time using his unique skills in East Timor! Step 3 - Master Scuba Diver Trainer Program

After a few days off to celebrate the successful Instructor Exam results the Master Scuba Diver Trainer Prep & Internship Course begins. The program has two stages. The first stage, conducted by a PADI Course Director is the PADI Specialty Instructor training. This involves learning how to effectively conduct & market a variety of PADI Speciality Courses. The "Black Belt Of Scuba Diving"

Taneva Baker from the USA took on the challenge of the Master Scuba Diver program at Crystal Dive resort on Koh Tao. The Master Scuba Diver program is frequently referred to as the "Black Belt of Scuba Diving" and has a prerequisite of 50 logged dives and a PADI Rescue Diver Certification. Step 2 - Successful Passing the PADI Instructor Exam

The second step is successful completion of the PADI Instructor Examination (IE). PADI Instructor Examiners arrive on Koh Tao with the mission to objectively evaluate potential new PADI Instructors, all scheduled over three days. Candidates have to pass exams in dive theory, and PADI Standards, as well as be evaluated in their presentation abilities in knowledge development, confined water & open water plus other skills...

Step 1 - Successful IDC at Crystal Dive, Koh Tao
