Examiners
from PADI Asia Pacific will conduct the IE over three days
beginning @ 13.00 on the 18th. The closing ceremony will be
held at 12 Noon on the 20th.
"Eco Koh Tao" - Alternative
Dive Site Exploration
The Eco Koh Tao team are currently investigating the possibility
of finding & using "alternative" dive sites
in & around Koh Tao to take some of the pressure of the
existing popular sites. |

Technical diving Instructor Trainer & Thailand's pre-eminent
Technical Diver Jamie McLeod will be presenting a 1 hour presentation
on The MV Trident, USS Largarto & other local wrecks at
Dirty Nelly’s Irish Pub at 19.30. Free refreshments
will be served.

Trainers Nathan Cook & Justin Mayers. |

- "Save Koh Tao"
Day |
| A
day of beach & dive site clean ups conducted in conjunction
with the International Year of the Reef 2008. Get involved in
the island’s largest volunteer event on behalf of the
marine environment. Crystal Dive Resort will be organizing a
beach clean-up from Sensi Paradise to Crystal then a clean up
of the Mae Haad Bay area. Anybody interested in getting involved
contact Nathan Cook at Crystal Dive Resort. Then later on that
evening there will be a FREE raffle & buffet at Dirty Nelly’s
Irish Pub for all participants. |
