Beach & Divesite Clean
Up - Sairee Beach
Once again,
Eco Koh Tao & Crystal Dive were prevalent in the cleanup of
Sairee Beach and Reef on Koh Tao. Eco Koh Tao’s participation
was organised by PADI Divemaster Iain Johnston, with invaluable
assistance from PADI Master Instructor Justin Mayers.
 
Volunteers included Heather & Jarod Raithel, David Proctor,
Emma Savage, Ross Turner, Emma Pearce, Omit Yavot, Hiroshi Nagato,
Esther Humphries, Marie-Louise
We had 19 people
in the water, in 4 separate groups, with the groups being led by
Vikki Roberts MSDT, Sam Mack DM, Jarod Raithel DM and Helen Jobson
DM. The divers were ranging from newly certified Open Water Students,
including Rodger Werkhoven and Sean Quill, to PADI Course Director
Lior Beser.

There was also,
as always, an excellent turnout from Crystal Dive’s DMT program.
A superb day was topped off by a free BBQ at local hotspot, Vibe
Bar, where we quenched our thirst after a very hot day.
