PADI Instructor Specialty Training
Yesterday saw
the commencement of this month's MSDT Program at Crystal Dive conducted
by PADI Course Director Justin Mayers. Adam Green and Mike Steele
chose to take Instructor level specialty training in Deep diving,
Enriched Air, Digital Underwater Photography (DUP), Wreck diving
and Naturalist.

We
conducted the Deep and Enriched Air training dives Laem Thien. The
candidates where presenting skills from the diver level courses
they will be teaching after completion of their Specialty training.
These skills included demonstrating the effect of pressure at 30m,
as well as the effect of colour absorption at depth.

Wreck,
DUP and Naturalist were completed today at Twin Peaks and Japanese
gardens.
Now the Specialty
training is complete its time for part 2 of the MSDT program; The
Instructor Internship. The Internship involves team teaching with
experienced instructors at Crystal Dive resort in order to achieve
a wide range of experience teaching all levels of PADI courses.

The
minimum requirements of the program involve certifying at least
25 PADI divers, which combined woith the 5 Specialty Instructor
ratings the guys have just completed will make them PADI Master
Scuba Diver Trainers.
