After
a slow start to the New Year Eco Koh Tao has hit top speed this
week certifying 7 new Reef Check Eco Divers as our quest to preserve
the local environment continues.

the course of the training participants took part in some detailed

One
common question asked by many is what happens to the data? Does
anyone look at it? Our Reef Check Scientist Dr Suchana ‘Appla’
Chavanich of Chulalungkorn University in Bangkok recently sent us
this message…
"By the way, how is the RC class over there? It is
very nice that you are very active in this, I really appreciate
it. So far the data that we received from you are very useful. Several
persons in the government sectors have asked me about the data since
they would like to know the condition of the reefs so that they
can make a future management plan.
Again, thank
you very much for helping with this. I really appreciate it."
