Lucky 13 on the EFRI
13 of Crystals
IDC group completed the Emergency First Response (EFR) Primary &
Secondary Care Instructor Course as well as the EFR Care for Children
Instructor course enabling them to teach these tow valuable courses
to potential Rescue diver students in the future.

Since April 1st
2009 becoming an EFR Instructor has also become an important pre-requisite
in order to be eligible for the PADI Instructor Exams.
With Platinum
Course Director Matt Bolton spending today and tomorrow’s
day off focusing on the business side of Crystal Dive Resort, spending
two days with our existing instructional & Divemaster staff,
EFR Instructor Trainers Justin Mayers and Carsten Neuhaus conducted
today’s EFR Instructor training.
We covered The
ABCD’S in Primary Care and also first Aid in the Secondary
Care course. The candidates demonstrated their positive teaching
and coaching methods and completed the day with assessments of their
ability to teach skills from both courses and a written exam.
A fun day was
had by all, with many laughs, whilst learning essential skills.
